I absolutely loved my Naples progressives with magnetic sunglasses, until I lost the sunglasses. Over almost two weeks I have called twice and emailed once to ask how to purchase another pair, but I still haven't received a response. I have Aides Pupil, meaning my pupil is stuck in the open position and I get brutal headaches without sunglasses, even on cloudy days. I guess I'm now looking for a whole new set, but it won't be from Vitenzi, I'm afraid. It's really a shame, since I have recommended them to quite a few friends and even mentioned them to my surgeon. I'll have to fix that now.
I love theses frames! The style, hinges, clip on sunglasses are just what I want. However, every pair that I have purchased break. I do have prescription lenses made to fit these frames, as I can’t get these at close to the Vitenzi price at my opticians. But I can buy three from Vitenzi for the price of one frame at my optician,so I will continue to purchase despite the flaw
I needed a pair of readers while between cataract surgeries, and I wanted three things: 1. Progressive lenses that I wouldn't have to put on and off all day 2. Clip-on sunglasses 3. Not so expensive that I would feel badly if I never use them again after recovery from the second surgery. I got all of that, plus I love the magnetic attachment of the sunglasses. Everything is quite lightweight, too. The spring-loaded temples aren't too tight, and the glasses stay up just fine. The only drawback, and it's not huge, is that the lenses are slightly yellow rather than clear. I'm not sure why that is, and I'd prefer them to be clear. Overall, it's been a very good experience, especially considering the price.
Wow, the quality is better than expected and I LOVE the magnetic clipon. These are good quality and they work very well. The transition from distance to close vision takes a bit of time to adjust.
